Long associated with professional and leveraged trading, the FTSE 250 fintech is repositioning itself as “The Investor’s Champion”, signalling a strategic shift towards supporting a broader base of retail investors seeking autonomy, clarity and trusted infrastructure.
Developed in partnership with Otherway and 21st Century Brand, the campaign reflects a recalibration of how IG engages modern investors.
The campaign, seen across TV and digital media, highlights the distractions facing investors from online “gurus” to high-fee brokers, positioning IG as a platform built to cut through the noise.
Alongside zero-commission investing, the brand emphasises its data, analysis and educational infrastructure designed to support informed decision-making.
The repositioning is underpinned by a new visual and verbal identity. The concept of progress sits at its core, reflected in a refined wordmark featuring an arrow and the evolution of IG’s red square into a flexible cube device, anchored by the line: “Trade. Invest. Progress.”
