Visa has extended its long-standing partnership with FIFA, continuing its role as the official Payment Technology Partner across FIFA competitions worldwide.
The renewed agreement will see Visa remain a top-tier FIFA Partner as the two organisations approach 20 years of collaboration, following the start of their partnership at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2007.
The extension will cover major global football events including the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 and FIFA World Cup 2030, alongside youth tournaments and FIFAe competitions.
Visa will continue to support fan experiences through payment technology, digital innovations and exclusive access initiatives.
The partnership follows Visa’s recent activations around the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026, where the payments company delivered customer engagement initiatives designed to connect fans with the tournament experience.
Frank Cooper III, Chief Marketing Officer, Visa, said: “Visa and FIFA will expand the possibilities for rich fan experiences and player aspirations through our long-standing partnership.”
“We both recognise that FIFA’s global tournaments not only create massive cultural moments, they generate commerce through ‘pop-up economies’ that allow Visa to help energise entire cities, driving growth and connecting communities.”
